Disability Discrimination


Title I of The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 are federal laws which protect individuals with disabilities from discrimination in the workplace. This includes private employers with fifteen (15) or more employees, government entities and federal contractors. Discrimination can include, failure to hire, failure to provide a reasonable accommodation, unlawful medical or interview questions, and firing because of disability.
